INTUTEC implementation example / INTUTEC / Industrial distribution
Bringing the distributor into the digital sales process
Connect the manufacturer’s digital customer journey with the local partner responsible for the opportunity.
Website-integrated distribution
An implementation example from INTUTEC’s digital platform and industrial distribution work. No quantified sales uplift is claimed for this implementation.
WHAT WAS CONNECTED
- 01Customer
- 02Manufacturer website
- 03Location / application
- 04Local partner
- 05Lead data & follow-up
- 06Opportunity visibility
Context
Industrial manufacturers often sell through local distributors, while customers begin their research on the manufacturer’s website. These two parts of the buying journey need to work together.
Challenge
A list of distributor addresses does not establish who owns a new enquiry, what information they receive or how the manufacturer can follow the opportunity. The handover is the critical operating problem.
What was built
INTUTEC developed digital tools for lead management, contact assignment and customer qualification, with white-label logic and sales workflows integrated into the manufacturer’s website. Local partner visibility became part of the customer journey.
How it worked
Customer location and application context inform the local contact assignment. Lead data passes into a structured follow-up process. The manufacturer and partner can work from a defined handover instead of relying only on a disconnected directory. The diagram describes that operating logic.
Result
The implementation established website-integrated distribution workflows and a practical basis for lead routing and partner transparency. No conversion, revenue or response-time improvement is asserted without measured evidence.
What companies can learn
A distributor network should be part of the digital sales process. Define territory, ownership, information requirements and follow-up before automating the handover.
